A very long journey...

We wanted to share the journey one very rare very important part made from Portland, Oregon, to A Coruña in Spain. It was nothing short of miraculous that we managed to find someone who had one for sale, but then getting it sent from the US to Spain was looking incredibly expensive. Finally our amazing friend Ben in San Francisco took delivery of the part and shipped it to us using a friend's Fedex discount. Thank you Ben! You saved Sam and our journey and we couldn't be more grateful.

Amazingly according to the shipping record our new steering assembly went from Portland in Oregon to Fedex's central depot in Memphis Tennessee, to San Francisco, then back to Fedex's central depot in Memphis Tennessee, to Paris, then Madrid before finally arriving at Talleres Lago in A Coruña. So just for fun here's a map of it's world-crossing journey. It's more well-travelled than we are!
